In this study, the author used black nightshade plant of southern coasts of Caspian Sea to dye woolen fibers with a five-stage of sulfates of Aluminum, Iron, Copper, and Dichromate of Potassium and Sodium, through the same stage in both alkaline and acidic environments, while there were tests of stability to light and washing to check light and wash fastness. Descriptively and experimentally, the study attempts to investigate potentials of Black Nightshade fruit from the southern coasts of Caspian Sea as a dyer, environments, and different dying conditions to achieve varieties of derived colors. Conclusions indicate that the Black Nightshade of the southern coasts of Caspian Sea signals more absorption ability on woolen fibers, at the same time, one could achieve varieties of shades using change in tooth, PH, temperature and concentration of dyer.
